Non sempre nel bianco nero le ombre sono fondamentali, non sempre nei volti si trovano gli occhi dei soggetti. A volte è proprio ciò che manca a dare senso all'immagine. Mancanze, attese che non vedranno la fine. Occasioni non colte.

Black & White pictures need shadows… Not always. You first find the eyes when you look at a face… Not always. Sometimes what is lacking is what makes the sense of an image. A head, willingly guillotined in the frame; succeeding to avoid the camera, hiding youself behind a serfboard; being provided with such a body structure that you leave a print even when you’ve been photographed from behind. Lacks, endless expectations. Not seized opportunities.
